Organic SEO

Organic seo refers to the natural way search engines rank well built pages and reject those that are not. You will see occasional bad pages that rank well, but as Google continues to improve their ranking methods, you will see these pages drop off the charts.

You will also see, correct pages rise to the top. Important elements to notice will help explain the organic search engine process:

  1. See the top blue bar of your browser… Do you see my title up there? It also has the main keyword phrase for this page in it.
  2. It is very likely this title will be the same as my search engine listing title is.
  3. The title contains a “call to action” word like Get, or Find.
  4. And the url for this page contains the main keyword.
  5. Watch when you do searches at Google. Is the keyword you used bold type in the listings you see? Look for bolding in page name, domain name, description and title.

All excellent seo tips and all of these prove what organic search engines want. But that is not all.

Organic SEO for Search Engines

Some of what you do not see is what search engines do see.

  • Meta tags and what they say.
  • Which tags do you need?
  • Density of keyword to total text.
  • Html code structure.
  • Search engines do not see images, colors and pretty stuff. They see raw code.
  • They assess your ability to focus on the subject at hand.
  • How relative is your information to what your code tells them you’re all about?

Are you old enough to remember the “Dewey Decimal System” and the old library card catalog?

Remember how it told you where to find books based on subject matter, all the way down to which shelf it was on? Then you are old enough to know how organic seo works and you are miles ahead of the competition.

There are just a few things to know that are a little different. One, it is you delivering the information. Second, search engines use a catalog process too and it’s called keywords.
